Wired connections benefit from ADSL and ADSL2/2+, offering download speeds from up to 8 Mbps to up to 24Mbps using a standard telephone connection, while 3G Mobile Broadband connectivity currently supports download speeds up to 7.2 Mbps increasing to 14.4 Mbps in the future, delivered via 3G/HSDPA/HSUPA, EDGE, UMTS or GPRS networks.

Integrated wireless AP in either 802.11G or 802.11N (draft 2) mode allows WiFi sharing of fixed line or 3G Broadband bandwidth, with strong WEP/WPA/WPA2 encryption protocols.

A 12V car power cable is bundled with the BiPAC 7300GX to let you plug the charger into your car's cigarette lighter for extra mobility. The BiPAC 7402X/GX/NX supports embedded IPSec VPN (Virtual Private Network) protocols, allowing office users to establish encrypted private connections of up to 16 simultaneous tunnels over the Internet.

The BiPAC 7800GZ, a triple-WAN 3G / ADSL2+ firewall router integrated with the 802.11g wireless access point and 4-port switch, is a cutting-edge networking product for SOHO and office users. Uniquely, the router allows users to directly insert a 3G / HSPA SIM card into its built-in SIM slot instead of requiring external USB modems. This design will avoid the common problem of compatibility issues of many different 3G USB modems.
