THE RUT900 WILL REPLACE THE OLDER RUT500 MODEL
The Teltonika RUT900 is a highly reliable and secure 3G router for professional applications. Through the dual SIM failover function of RUT900 offers the possibility build a redundant 3G connection. The external antenna connectors allow the use of an external, high-performance UMTS / 3G antennas if the RUT900 router is located in a position with poor 3G network signal but there is a better 3G signal close by.
The RUT900 allows you to set up a constant 3G / UMTS internet connection with transfer rates of up to 21 Mbps download and 5.76 Mbps upload (HSPA + standard) b> in 3G mode and set up a wireless / wired network to share the 3G connections with several clients to use.
The Teltonika RUT900 has two SIM card slots. You can use two differend providers to build a redundant 3G connection with Failover and Fallback function.
The built-in WiFi access point allows to create your own wireless network to use an easy way of connecting your wireless client to the RUT900. The WiFI AP offers transfer rates of up to 300Mbps (Wireless N standard) with latest encryption and security standards such as WPA / WPA-2. Even the connection of wired Devices or the integration into an existing wired network is not a problem. For this purpose, the RUT900 has an integrated 3-port 10/100Mbps Ethernet switch.
If no 3G signal is available, you can alternatively use the RUT900 as a DSL router mode or WiFi client mode. The built-in fallback function helps you to stay online.
In addition, the RUT900 has two external 3G antenna connectors (SMA connector). So you can connect an external 3G antennas to strengthen UMTS / 3G signal when required a more powerful 3G / UMTS.
The user-friendly web interface allows all users to comfortably configure the router.

BASIC CONFIGURATION GUIDE
A quick video demonstation of the RUT900 Web User Interface - after inserting a working SIM Card, connecting the Cellular Antennas and then connecting the power and waiting for a few minutes for the Teltonika RUT900 to run through the start up process we connect our Laptop to the router with an Ethernet cable and open a web browser and enter the routers defailt IP address 192.168.1.1 into the address bar and access the router web interface and run through the basic configuration including configuring APN setting to enable router to connect to 3G network, configuring ping reboot so the router will re-establish the 3G connection when it gets dropped by the mobile network, enabling remote admin (assuming you are using Fixed IP SIM), port forwarding and quickly shows the WiFi interface so you can enable security or completely disable the WiFi.
