The Grandstream PoE injector comes with 48V and a 0.5A output. It is designed for 100MBit and gigabit devices and has a power cable included. This passive PoE injector is compatible with the GWN76XX series, GXP series VoIP phones and IP cameras operating at 48 volts.

It is a convenient choice when you just have a single device that needs to receive power using a single Ethernet cable for both power and Ethernet and you do not want to invest in a POE Switch.

A typical example of using the POE Injector would be:-

Customer is using Proroute RAPID NR550 5G Router for high speed office Internet.  The user needs to provide a single WiFi Access Point outdoors to cover the car park and are installing the Grandstream GWN7605LR Long Range WiFi Access Point.  This unit requires a POE feed.  The NR550 does not provide POE so the GWN-POE-INJ will connect to an Ethernet port of the router and the POE output will then connect via a long Ethernet cable to the WiFi Access Point.  The POE Injector will need to be plugged into the mains power in order to provide the power element along the Ethernet cable to the AP.
