NR550 Industrial 5G Router

The new RAPID NR550 5G router from Proroute is designed as a high specification, industrial NR 5G router that is reliable, secure and robust enough to be used for a variety of M2M applications that need high speed 5G Internet with resilient Internet connectivity and dual SIM failover option as well as all the firewall, VPN and M2M features you would need for most 5G M2M installations.

As well as being a reliable and secure device for industrial applications, the NR550 router is also ideal for home and office 5G Internet, delivering high speed 5G Internet to the LAN via Gigabit Ethernet ports and 802.11AC WiFi so users can have the convenience of a super fast 5G WiFi hotspot for browsing, email and streaming media.  The RAPID NR550 router is also ideal for using with SD-WAN solutions to form one or more of the 5G Internet legs that can be bonded to provide high speed bonded 5G broadband.

For rural broadband users, the NR550 uses 4×4 MiMo connections for the 5G cellular connection so can be used with directional 4×4 MiMo 5G antennas and for users with easier access to 5G services it can use omni-directional 4×4 mimo antennas.

The Proroute RAPID NR550 is a wireless communication router for the Internet of Things (IoT), it uses a high-performance industrial level 32-bit communication processor and wireless module, embedded with the real-time operating system as the software platform, and using 3G/4G/5G cellular network to provide users with wireless long-distance large data transmission function.
