M2M Data Fixed IP SIM Cards
Fixed IP SIM solutions for M2M & IOT applications provide predictable addressing and secure routing, enabling seamless remote access and monitoring for industrial and enterprise applications. Reliable, secure connectivity is critical for remote assets and connected devices.
IOT SIM solutions are provided through 3G Router Store’s owning company Millbeck, who are experts in full IOT & M2M solutions and Edge connectivity, serving the industry for over 15 years.
Why Fixed IP SIMs?
When deploying devices in the field — whether for energy infrastructure, security systems, or connected machines — you need more than just mobile data. You need control, visibility, and security.
Deploying your devices with an IOT Fixed IP SIM ensures your edge
devices can be reached consistently, without relying on dynamic addressing or complex NAT workarounds.
Connectivity Options
- Fixed Public IP – Direct access to your edge devices from any location, option when systems are not compatible with a private fixed IP VPN solution.
- Private IP with VPN – Secure, private connectivity within a managed network, reducing exposure to the public internet and utilising encrypted communication tunnels to and from edge devices.
UK & EU Roaming Fixed IP SIM Cards
Our UK & EU Roaming Fixed IP SIM cards provide a secure and reliable connectivity solution for organisations with distributed sites across the UK and Europe. These SIMs enable consistent remote access and monitoring by delivering a static IP address—either public or private—regardless of the network they connect to. This approach simplifies device management and supports secure edge connectivity for critical infrastructure.
Fixed IP roaming SIMs are ideal for businesses that require predictable, stable connectivity across multiple locations. By maintaining a static public IPv4 address, these SIMs allow direct access to remote devices without complex NAT configurations. This is particularly valuable for remote diagnostics, monitoring, and control in sectors such as energy, security, and industrial IoT.
Multi-Network SIM Cards For M2M / IoT – Our roaming multi-network SIM cards are designed for machine-to-machine (M2M) and IoT deployments. In combination with industrial routers they will automatically connect to the strongest available network in the UK and Europe, eliminating the need to pre-select carriers for each site. This ensures built-in redundancy and failover, reducing downtime and improving operational resilience.
Unsteered Multi-Network SIMS
Unlike steered SIMs that prioritise a single network, our unsteered multi-network SIMs always select the best available signal. This means you can deploy a single SIM type across all sites, simplify procurement, andaggregate data usage across your fleet for easier management.
UK & EU Roaming Fixed IP SIM Cards
Our standard roaming SIMs operate on major UK networks such as Vodafone, O2, and EE, with options to include Three Mobile if required. Across Europe, these SIMs provide access to multiple Tier-1 networks in each country, ensuring consistent connectivity for critical applications.
The roaming fixed IP sim card solutions provide connectivity to all countries in Europe, providing connection to multiple networks in each country.

Security Considerations : When using a Fixed Public IP, your device is directly reachable from the internet. It is essential to implement firewalls, strong authentication, and device hardening. For enhanced security, we recommend Fixed IP SIMs with Private IP addressing, which require a VPN connection before access is granted—significantly reducing exposure to external threats.
Contact our IoT connectivity specialists to discuss the best solution for your project.
Our Roaming SIM Cards operate on all four UK networks and come with a fixed, private IP address and we will provide VPN access to enable remote access to your devices across the VPN.
Unlike our roaming SIM Cards with a Public IP address, these SIM cards and the devices they are used with, will be unable to be accessed directly from the Internet.
We offer roaming SIM Cards with 1GB of Inclusive Data for £7.00 per month

Update Regarding Unlimited Data Fixed IP SIM Cards
We are no longer able to offer truly unlimited data SIM cards with a fixed, public IP address. We can however, offer large data plan Fixed IP SIM cards with 500GB of monthly data.
This is equivalent to the unlimited plan with the fair usage policy which used to be 500GB and after breaching this twice then the SIM would be capped at 500GB. So if you need a good value, large data SIM card with a fixed IP then our 500GB tariff is for you. Please complete the form below and we will send you our current tariffs.

Fixed IP SIMs – Frequently Asked Questions
IPSEC VPN For Secure Network Access to IOT Fixed IP SIMs
No, not with standard 4G/5G mobile broadband. Most mobile operators use Carrier-Grade NAT (CGNAT), which means your connection does not receive a public IP address. Dynamic DNS cannot work without a public IP.
Some legacy 3G services occasionally provided public IPs, but these are no longer reliable or guaranteed. Even if available, they can be withdrawn without notice, creating operational risk. For predictable, secure connectivity, a Fixed IP SIM is the correct solution.
How Do I Order Fixed IP SIM Cards?
Contact our team on 01937 534914 or email us with your requirements. We’ll confirm the best service option and send you the necessary documentation to get started.
What Are My Payment Options?
The standard payment method for contracted SIMs and services is monthly via direct debit. However we do also give annual 12 month billing option if it is preferred. However keep in mind any usage charges in the month will also be invoiced and require payment.
How quickly will I receive my SIM Cards, active and ready to use?
This depends on the type of SIM system ordered, but generally once a contact is signed and returned and payment method is sorted, SIMs can be delivered active and ready to use in 1-3 days. If VPN access is required this can add some more days to the process for setup and testing.
Can I limit my data usage to my chosen inclusive data allowance?
Yes, SIM systems can be set with alerts and auto-bars to stop high unwanted usage.
How Much Bandwidth Will My IP Camera Use?
Bandwidth used depends entirely on the camera type, codec used and frame rate for live video streaming. You must check with your manufacturer to be sure. A general guide would be IP cameras using a a codec with high compression and low frame rates will result in live streaming data rates of between 100 kBit/s and 350 kBit/s.
This means that is we take an average bandwidth of 200 kBit/s then the calculation for 1 hour of live video streaming / viewing will be:-
1 hour = 60 minutes = 3600s
3600s x 200 kBit/s = 720,000 kBits
720,000 kilobits = 703Mb (1 kilobit = 1024 Mb – Megabit)
So this is roughly 3/4 of 1Gb.
These are only estimates and usage is possible to be SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER with certain configurations and settings.
Will My SIM Card Have a Public IP Address?
Yes—if you choose a Fixed Public IP SIM. Once configured, your router will have a static public IP, allowing remote access. Alternatively, some providers offer Fixed Private IP SIMs, which require a VPN tunnel for access. This is often the preferred option for enhanced security.
Security Best Practice
Using a public IP means your device is reachable from the internet. Always implement:
- Strong authentication
- Firewall rules
- Device hardening
For maximum security, choose Private IP with VPN, ensuring access is only possible through an encrypted tunnel.
